ABOUT ME

I am an "educator for all" at heart. I love teaching and learning and have made it my goal in life to help people learn. I started doing this by teaching at the elementary level. I was an educator for 9 years during which I moved into an instructional coach role.

In 2016 received my Master's in Instructional Design and Technology from the University of Memphis. Using the skills I learned while in school, I was able to begin training teachers on how to use technology appropriately in the classroom, becoming the "go-to" tech person in my building. I've worked with Microsoft as an educator ambassador for my school district and also with Amazon Bootup Future Engineer Program, working to help teachers bring coding and STEM concepts into the classroom.

On a more personal level, I live in Memphis with my son and retired mother. We enjoy spending time as a family shopping, vacationing on the beach, and being outdoors. In my spare time, I love going to the park, going to the movies, reading a good book, crafting, relaxing, and watching reality TV shows!
